A weekend on Cape Ann
Reflections in the ocean
Gloucester harbor; I'm a sucker for reflections.
7 Seas Whale Watch
Among many other sightings, we saw a mother humpback whale with a five month old playful baby!
We grabbed dinner in Rockport, followed by ice cream, and a peaceful walk to the ocean.
Bri and I have tremendous luck when it comes to travel. This time, we stumbled onto a Renaissance fair at Hammond Castle, built in the 1920s by John Hays Hammond, Jr., who is essentially Howard Stark. Hammond was second only to Albert Einstein for the amount of patents he owned while he lived. And, notably, he made his first million dollars by age 19.
If you've never been there, Rockport is really beautiful. Quintessential New England.
Wingaersheek Beach, Gloucester
We spent all day Sunday lounging on white sand. Pretty fantastic.
